I'm perfectly happy to spend $800 on this Miroku. My money, not yours.

Bob, I suppose it's possible I may have mistaken you for one of the other crybabies like Gregory or SKB who claim to IGNORE me, yet still read my posts and respond to me. I must have gotten confused by your stupidity.

Take the second part of your reply as an example. You edited your initial post about the "leather covered perfection" to add the part about coming from a BSS sidelock and commenting on the screw holes matching this gun and the wood being slightly proud in a spot. I changed your added edit to red print:

For this Miroku maybe a 98% fit.
It pretty much bolted right on, screw holes were a spot on match.
Wood is slightly proud in a spot but what the heck.

But pulling crap like that, and then calling me a liar is exactly what I'd expect from a Liberal P.O.S. like you. I'll bet you could even manufacture some evidence to use against Brett Kavanaugh. I didn't take the time to comment on your idea of "leather covered perfection", and include your photo of the sloppy installation job, knowing that you had referred only to the pad itself. That is abundantly clear now, AFTER your edits. That's why I use the QUOTE function so much with some of your fellow Libs. Next time, Ill be sure to QUOTE you before you can make any dishonest changes.

I seriously doubt if Dewey Vicknair or any other great gunsmith west of the Atlantic would permit work like that to leave their shop. But I also thought Les may have just figured you were too stupid to notice the poor fit. However, it does tend to draw your eye away from the grip checkering that looks like Stan did it with his John Deere tractor and discs.

Oh, I also saw your initial reply to me where you said that you preferred a less than perfectly fitted pad to a buttplate any day. You changed that too. I should have responded immediately before you did your dishonest editing, but I had much more important things to do, like going to a local tavern to watch the Penn State--Ohio State game with some friends.

Again, my apologies if I have mistaken you for Gregory, SKB, or one of the other crybabies who claim to IGNORE me, but can't. Stupid people all start to look the same after a while. Have a nice day.

Bob--I sold a Miroku Model M to a guy at the gun club years ago. 12ga, straight grip, splinter, DT. Much nicer gun, IMO, than the Miroku-made Dalys. Factory choked IC/IM. I don't really need another 12ga, but from time to time I think about seeing if I can buy that one back. Looked like a very basic Birmingham boxlock.

keith,
You're a lying, back peddling piece of filth.
Les fit this pad to a BSS sidelock. Perfectly

I sold the BSS years ago, but kept the pad.
I bolted it on the Miroku you MORON.
I know you for the coward and bully you are.
I know you hide behind the anonymity of the internet.
I know you wouldn't dare say the hysterical paranoid things you spew to any mans face for fear of getting the ass kicking you deserve.
I know you for who and what you are, shove your apology up your ass.

Kirk Merrington. Never had any work done by him or held any that he did work on. But he went out of his way to personally contact and help me after I posted my project about sleeving a LC Smith 20g down to 28g as I progressed. He's a good guy in my book.

Kirk was my warranty gunsmith when I imported Darne shotguns. He didnt get much of that work (Thank God, I never had the issues some makers of the era did) but, what he did for myself and my customers was prompt, and perfect.
Always a gentleman as well. I recommend him without reservation.

Best,
Ted

Bob, I stand by everything I said. Everyone here knows I'm too careful to have not noticed the second part of the post you edited to add the words I highlighted in red. Your initial post, which Stan responded to consisted of a mere three lines.

Everything in RED was added after I made my post about your "leather covered perfection". We all know that perfection in a leather covered pad job doesn't includes an installation that a blind man could feel is jacked. You also added a line about taking the pad off of a 20 ga. BSS in your initial post, and you also know you deleted the line about preferring a less than perfectly fitted pad to a buttplate.

I took that to mean that you have a sensitive little shoulder, and are bothered by the recoil of a 20 gauge gun.

This is now a case of "He said--She said". And in this case, you are obviously the "She". Maybe you should stick to low recoil loads and gas operated semi-auto's. Jagermeister could probably guide you in a good choice.

This isn't the first time you've tried something like this. I can easily go back a year or so ago, and show you where I told you how much fun we could have if I played the same game as you and altered QUOTES. I told you that we could swirl this place down the toilet so fast, we'd wash the porcelain off the bowl. That thread is now too old for you or I to go back and edit anything.

I won't retract my apology for confusing you with a couple very stupid guys, but I will apologize to them for comparing them to a slime-ball like you. And I also know that a few F.A.G.'s here are wailing and gnashing teeth over me pissing on your thread, but they would never complain about the many times you came out of the woodwork to dump on me. Of course, you could take the advice you gave to Stan, and IGNORE my posts.
