I'd love to see the recent bank account deposits of the Kavanaugh accusers...... Like mobile flash mobs, I don't think "witnesses" get paid much anymore...Geo

I'd love to see the recent bank account deposits of the Kavanaugh accusers...... Zealots work for free. Their accounts are so vague and full of inconsistencies that they carry no weight with me. Before you derail a Supreme Court nominee at midnight hour you need more than a accusation so flimsy and so unsubstantiated that dates back decades. Worse no person has stepped forward to give testimony in support of the claims. All have strongly denied them but a denial is dismissed while a accusation is accepted by the press. Even the NYTimes declined to run with the second claim and they at no strong Republican supporter. Where is the presumption of innocence? If any man can have his entire life ruined by such a accusation then this country is truly lost and you have no rights at all. None.

Geo., I myself am very comfortable with the top tier paying a higher tax rate. Before it was lowered it was still well below the historical tax rates on the top tier. Indeed many of the poor do not pay taxes. Very few people intentionally remain poor to take advantage of the lower rate. We are slow turning in to a country of haves and have not's. The wealthy in this country are amassing a huge portion of the over all wealth. They should be taxed upon it in my view. Passing the tax burden on to the middle class is not an improvement in my view. Steve

Unless you're one of the rich dudes, their tax break will cost you. Celebrating their gratuitous gain is like cheering for a man who has a knife against your throat. Trump was partly right. The system is rigged. It's just not rigged the way he says it is. Life isn't fair. We have government to offset that unfairness, not to make it worse.

If you want guns outlawed and abortion promoted believe all the lies the dems are promoting. Personally I am against gun control but have a problem with abortion. I think it is wrong but somehow I drift toward making it mandatory for the dems.

I’ve always felt that eliminating taxes on the lower income earners was a mistake. They have no skin in the game and want more because they know they are not paying for it. If even a little came out of their own pocket they would see increasing taxes as a negative thing. Right now they only see it as a positive thing because it means more money to get a “fair share” of for them not another bill to pay. Somebody else is paying for it so it’s ok.
I wish our founding fathers had included mandatory militia service for everyone and the vote being given to any tax payers. I know why they did not. They hated the concept of a standing army and thought taxes of any type were anathema. But given two years service a lot of people could become better trained, better educated and more likely to earn a decent income.

Unless you're one of the rich dudes, their tax break will cost you. Just the same I think I'll take my tax break anyway. It may not save me as much as it does Mr. Gottrocks, but I'm still doing better than I was...Geo
