.018 at 8 is way too thin for me. Are you sure about those measurements? 14-16 + maybe but not at 8s. My hand is there or within a couple inches. Heck my face is too close.
I was working all day today but have the dimensions in my notebook at the shop. I will try to look at them tommorow and verify those numbers.
I have another 20 ga Flues almost identical that had much thicker barrels but badly pitted bores. I have opened up the bores on them to 0.626" @ .032" MWT. There is still some pitting visible. The chambers are 2-3/4" with a ring of dark pitting just before the forcing cones. Not sure how I want to proceed.
