I don't know what pinfires usually bring, but based on the auction estimates it looks like you got a very good deal...
Their poor quality of the pictures in the auction listing I think helped me out a lot.
And my friend actually worked on this particular gun on behalf of the person whose widow was selling it. (Protect stock and metal and stuff, no repair work) and he really encouraged me to get it as he said its probably one of the highest quality pinfires he had ever worked on. (And he has worked on hundreds and hundreds of various shotguns.)
