I too take King's word that he did all he said. He said that he spoke at a meeting, but we'll never know just what he said, just as he would never tell us what he supposedly wrote to the NRA or Sen. John McCain (who also sided with the anti-gunners) All we can do there is consider the anti-gun sentiments King has posted here for years.

And he said that his "gun club had the loudest voice in the province, led by a rural physician." I certainly believe that as well... but I am equally certain that King was no help, just as he has never been any help to anyone in the U.S. except those who wish to infringe upon the Rights of law abiding gun owners.

King has called this deceptive writing style "the craft of journalism".

Our pro-gun President Donald Trump calls it exactly what it is... Fake News.
