This is about all I can offer in the way of History about the gun...

I was at Thad Scotts digging through the cased guns. I opened the case and there she lay. I had never heard of Blissett. I went and asked Thad about the gun...his reply was "that is the one I shoot when I shoot a muzzle loader".
I've known Thad for years....wouldn't say we were really good friends...but when he Turkey Hunts he hunts with a Turkey Call I made him.
We made a trade and I walked happily out the door with it.
