Jm - Mr. Tooth is an honorable and upright gunmaker (from Purdy's). He speaks like an Englishman because he is one. He left Bass pro maybe two or three years ago. he was at Bass Pro only briefly after he left ICD (or it left him). He now has a place called Elephand and Castle in Ozark(?), MO. The listed pricing would not be the work of Mr. Tooth!!

The Springfield, MO, store has been alerted (Mesa store not reachable by phone). Pointed out that this is a reflection on all locations. No promises, but they were a bit startled.

Surprised the Mesa store has pricing problems. The only person I have seen in their fine guns dept is quite experienced - Dusty Erickson previously of Erickson&Erickson out of Scottsdale. I think Dusty knows the business so it must be the bean counters setting the prices. He has a lot of new Garbi and B.Rizzini guns available. Makes me think William Larkin Moore must have sold BassPro Shop a pretty large starting package for this new store.

Erickson sold all his stuff to Steve Barnett and moved on. Don't know that he went belly up.

They do deserve high marks on knowing how to list the important detail of a gun. Better than most dealers and WAY better than mos occasional sellers. We could all take a lesson from what they put on their list of information.
