Appreciate the help!

Skeetx, First, yep it's empty. I got it cocked but the cross bolt is in a blind hole in the receiver.

Kutter, got the top lever off and found there was a tab that had broken off that doesn't want to come out of the slot, almost like there was a tab on it. The break on the lever looks like its cast. do you recall the shape of the tab in the cross bolt slot?
