Yeah, Everybody & their Brother has a few old ratty Sidelock Parker's & Foxes lying about needing new side plates. y the time it was FIT to a Smith & holes drilled etc you would likely destroy all the gold. could make paperweights out of them I guess.

Yes Steven I realise that. Was just throwing a bit of Sarcasm at this statement;
"Hey... they will fit a Parker, Fox or LC Smith."
I also interpret that B Budley was doing the same.
The original Ebay posting was this;
"Gold engraved side plates double barrel shotgun Ducks DU side lock Parker Fox LC".
Of the three of course only the LC is a sidelock & as you say they weren't Intended to Fit one of them or any other gun.
