No girly rose and scroll there. That is a wonderful manly gun with more prestigious Beasley action. I like it a lot.

My mom taught me to shoot a rifle at age 4 [I have it now], my grandmother taught me to shoot a pistol at age 8 [have that also], and great-grandma was the best shot in the family- using her 1903a3 to bring the deer home [I will inherit that-but dad is using it].
With a family background like that, I have no problems with one gun that is a bit girly.

On the male side: dad tramped the swamps of north Dakota to field test weapons for the marines in the early 1960s- so I get it from both sides.
