Jon's idea about using bricks to train retrieving dogs is an old one. If you own a Wirehair, substitute eight inch cinder blocks for the bricks and put a frozen pigeon in each side of the block. Secure the pigeons with duct tape.

No dog is useless. You just haven't figured out what he's for yet. Yep. Who knows what all the poor old thing has been through or how it was trained. If he does not fit into or confirm to your expectations, I'm sure you could find someone who would take him to let him live out his days as a ride around buddy .

I took him to the creek swimming with the kids yesterday. He then bit me when we got home and I opened the tailgate.
