. . . . If someone can get me dimensions of a .410 iron at the rear, i can compare them to the 16/20 to see if they are maybe suitable for modification. I know the irons on the .410 are shorter, but i cannot verify if the lug locations are the same or not.
Either way, i do have a piece of semi-inletted forend wood for the .410 if you are able to locate an iron.

A picture of the fore end and barrel of my .410 Ithaca Lefever Nitro Special. Looks to measure about 1.321 inches across the width of the iron where it interfaces with the receiver.
