I have seen several guns that had their trigger plates re-hardened after the installation of a single trigger. Millers and others. Given the amount of machining needed on the plate to accept a miller, annealing would be needed, and in turn, re-hardening.

I will again stress to the OP to put no worth in the statements of the above poster. His post above proves in multiple areas that he knows nothing of what he speaks.
