I have never known the Miller brothers to case color a gun. Of course, I don't get out much. Why is it not suspected that one of the trips to Remington resulted in the cyanide case colors? Does Brian think that the forend can be repaired, maybe in his shop? What is the present barrel length? If it is 26", then it matches the letter. Send us a picture of the top of the rib at the muzzle. Ed is incorrect in stating that a Miller trigger adds value. Most of us would pay extra for the original double triggers. The gun would be a quick sale at a gun show for not much more than $1500, considering the expensive forend repair and stock spacer. Of course, the original poster will be holding out for more.
