Here you go Ed 2010 http://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=189891&page=8Most of the images have been lost to the Photobucket disaster, but I'm sure I've got a few saved. Sad how many knowledgeable contributors are no longer with us. Same words in 2014 http://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=347210&page=1"i utilize the services of Ed Lander, for most of my repair and enhancement needs. Old Ed has over 60 years of experience in the gunsmithing trade and does fine work at fair prices. He has recolored literally hundreds if not thousands of shotguns receivers using his low controlled heat, chemical process." Are you stating that ol' Ed never "enhanced" a Sterlingworth or higher grade Fox? Or that his work was not up to your standards?

Nothing mean spirited about it, ed. You invited Drew's comments when you said what you did. Don't expect to get a bye here, when you talk out of both sides of your mouth.
By the way, what's "chemical" (low controlled heat, chemical process) about making frogeye spots with an acetylene torch?

stan: this thread is about fox metal refinishing...if you would like it to be about something else, then go start another thread.

That's what both Drew and I are referring to, ed, your "method" of Fox metal refinishing. Do you deny you have had Fox guns "acetylened", as a (pitiful) means of refinishing them? Are you so dense that you can't see that?

Understand one thing right now, ed good, you do not tell me where and what to discuss. The only one who has the power to do that is Dave. You can say so all day and night, but it is just whistling in the wind.
You think because you claim to not do any shotgun work yourself, but have many times said that you commission "master gunsmith ed lander" to do it, that you are exempt? Guilty by association, ed. You.
How do you not see, or care, that you have no credibility here? I cannot understand your mindset.
