Has anyone used RST shells? Been thinking about trying something new in my 28 gauge.

yep, RST or my reloads are all I will shoot in most of my guns. They are great quality shells but to me more important then most other attributes is they are of known low pressure and are also low recoil so are kind to old wood and metal.

I've come to like them so much that I use them in my 2 3/4 and 3 inch guns as well. I use them exclusively for all my upland hunting needs.
After I aquired my 2 1/2" gun, I started to use them for clays as well. I patterned the #8 lite RST's recently, and found them to provide beautiful patterns.

Just shot a couple of boxes of 28 ga. through my Holland hammer gun. I've been shooting RST's in 16,20, and 28 for years. Great shells and low pressure what more could you ask for.

I have not used 28g. I have used 10,12,16,and 20g shells all to my satisfaction for both clays and hunting. Besides being my "go to" ammo I support them because Morris Baker, who owns RST, is a super guy who supports many side by side shoots with event sponsorships, youth shoot sponsorships, support for collectors associations, prizes, etc. He makes an effort to provide convenient ammo at many eastern side by side shoots to make it easy for us to pick up ammo without having to hassle with shipping.

RST and Polywad both sell excellent low pressure shells. I use them a lot...Geo

I like to shoot RST papers in my Lindner Daly (Damascus) 20 gauge. Very good cartridges, but a bit pricey.

Good shells, for sure. And if you're talking hunting loads, they cost less than a lot of the "premium" stuff offered by the Big Three. They are a bit dirty, but that's a minor issue.

Chukarman - is there yet a source for RST's in California now that we are no longer able to commit mass murder by ordering them through the internet? Keeping us codgers from shooting our old guns will no doubt end gang violence in Oakland and South LA, but when I asked them recently RST did not yet have a CA retailer.
