Firstly these guns are only a 682 with a greener cross bolt grafted on top. The ASE 90 was a true premium gun and was probably made on to SO line. Make no mistake DT10 are machine made guns with all thier mass produced shortcomings.
Here in Australia I am aware of a number of these guns where Quality Control has taken a Siesta.
One I am aware of was springing open on the second shot, gun went back to Beratta, came back allegedly tightened with new springs, Did the same thing again, went back again and came back with supposedly new bolt and hammers etc, did the same thing again but trigger group also fell out on the ground. Bereatta did not want to know about it. Gun ended up going to a gentlemen who retired in Australia after being involved with a major English Gun Maker, he was actually the Technical Director,He dismantled the gun and found the top lecer trunion was machined out of round and this led to the whole gun not locking up, he fixed it and it has not played up since. Guns seem to have more than thier share of problems and resale value is pathetic. For a little more money there are far better guns out there that will give good service and hold their value.
Buy once, the thrill of the price is long forgotten, quality is remembered forever
