You only had one Ithaca model 37 (if we can believe you... which is doubtful) when it magically changed from a military trench gun to a late model short barreled 3" mag with choke tubes. Keep trying. Another pointless response from you. The short barrel 37 was made in Ohio camo TurkeySlayer with fixed free-floated smoothbore 22" barrel rifle sights and Invector Plus-type choke tube system. As I expected the barrel setup also turned in very good groups with Truball Federal slugs when 1/4 choke tube was screwed in the barrel. That was the smoothest out of the box pumpster I have ever owned. It must have been due to the type of finish on the gun. It was suggested that the Wildfowling model which comes black-finished is just as smooth for that reason.
