One can make a good profit off guns but but the real trick is to be the first buyer of a gun from the original owner or a decendant of that person. The higher up the chain you go, the less profit or gain (or return) you will likely make. That is where the knowledge and persistence pays off.

Or you can just be real lucky on a few retail buys and think you a gun buying genious. A sure way to eventually lose you ass. You know the old joke, "How do you make a small fortune on guns?..Start with a large one..."

The bottom line is buy what you like and have a passion for. Its OK to buy a gun simply because you really want it and plan to keep it.

Also, buy lots of books on the subject. You cant know too much.
