August 2-5 are the dates. 2 months after the Spring shoots, 2 months before the Fall shoots!! Plenty of shotgunfun and retail therapy.

Mike,
I tell her that frequently. Also that life is too short to shoot an ugly gun, the birds are too beautiful to be shot with and ugly gun, etc. Then there is the comeback of how many Coach purses, shoes does she need. Of course there is the "you do something nice for me, I'll do something nice for you" comment that sometimes works.
After 44 years of good marrage, we both enjoy our hobbies.

This is a great event. The course is a lot of fun and Mike is a wonderful host. High birds are spectacular.

Ladies and Gents, coming up at the Northern SxS Challenge & Expo on August 2-5, the AHFCA Small Bore and Big Bore Championships will be contested!! Each Championship will consist of a total of 100 targets (2 @ 50 bird events) for the 12g "Big Bore" and for either/or the 16g and 20g "Small Bore" guns. The high score with the 12g will win the Big Bore trophy and the high score with the 20/16 will win the Small Bore trophy. Please let the desk at registration and the FOX Collectors table know you will be shooting to qualify. Thanks!!!

No you don't, but it is appreciated and can be done here at the event. Kevin will be manning the Fox booth. Only requirement is shooting a Fox gun.

The 3 courses are ready for the Northern SxS!! The small gun course (Short Course) has 3 traps per station since we will be shooting the .410, 32, 28 and 24g events there. Another course for the small gauge pump, 16 & 20 and yet another for the big bore pump, 12 & 10. Black Powder will be shot on the Main Course too and is 30 targets. The 8 Bore is shot on a 15 Target 5-Stand. We also have a new 5-Stand and Flush set up for fun shooting. We will also be shooting some rifles at steel when the Clays action ceases for the day. The 80 target Main Event will also be very interesting. We use 4 of our stations on the old stretch of course once a year just for this event. Gonna be a good time!!
