Near as I can tell, less than 1 in 5 faces their end honestly, and stoically. Piles of stuff lose meaning when you are facing the end. They just aren't important anymore.
Kind of a "too late smart" moment.

I don't consider my heirs stupid because we have different interests. If they want to burn everything in a pile in the driveway, I won't be around to care.
