Stabbing knives eh? This one's not near as nice as Stan's and many of the others shown of in this thread, but my Granddaddy brought it back from WW-1 nearly 100 years ago. Its designed to pierce five layers of heavy wool clothing and still get to heart and lungs. The triangular stiletto blade is sharp on all three edges. Knuckle haft is marked U.S. 1917 LF & C. I've seen those referred to as a trench knife, Geo. Nice piece of WW1 history and a neat family heirloom.

I just received my Campolin stiletto switchblade this afternoon. What a knife! It's really big, at over 7 oz., but pocketable. It just exudes quality. I will take a couple pics in a little while and post them later this evening.
Bill, it is already very sharp on the cutting edge of the bayonet style blade..............nice for cutting a good steak, dontcha' know.

SRH I got excited when I saw the Campolin...until I talked to my switch blade collecting buddy about it...he claimed he wouldnt buy one because it was more of a novelty/tourist knife ?
