Dan, another great looking rifle saved from obscurity. You and John need to get together and front a store (although John already has that covered) for all of your "surplus" RIA acquisitions. I like the overall look and often wonder about that style of safety. Being one of the 12% that think with the right side of our mind, they look awkward as hell to me. I can see where a RH person would find it convenient. I wonder of the color difference is due to thumb rub operating the safety over the last 50 or so years? I would think it would darken the wood, but perhaps cleaning revealed a lighter tone. These
