I'm not sure. It is easy to turn your hulls down to 2 7/8". A wooden dowel with an xacto blade stuck at the appropriate depth will do the trick by inserting into the hull and making a few turns. I reload on a MEC 600 Jr with a short shell adapter on the crimp. I only have two 10 bores, an 1881 lifter Parker and a top lever Parker. The first is on a #2 frame with .030 constriction in both barrels and the other is on a #4 frame and is really tightly choked. I put SpredR inserts in a lot of my reloads to develop the pattern at sporting clays distance. I mark the primers with a black marker while they are still in the tray so I will know the difference. Ballistic Products "The Might 10 Gauge" has many 3 1/2" loads. The lowest pressure for lead I found was 9300 psi @ 1300 fps or a Bismuth load at 9200 psi going 1245 fps. All the loads I gave above were for lead shot. There is different data for Bismuth.
