OP Bill Graham Sidelock Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 990 Likes: 23 Durham NC	Giving cold blue and carding a try to work up a french grey on a simple French boxlock. There are a variety of methods for french grey, and this one with cold blue is prone to developing a bronze tint, which seems to be after rusting of the cold blue. The parts have been oiled to prevent this, but that did not help. Cold blue smells bad too. Suggestions for other processes?
