I loaded a flat of 410's with my 9000G today. I was trying some Remington STS #9 shot. I had no bridging problems in 150 shells the Remington shot was very uniform. I also loaded 150 with Argentine shot. I had one bridge problem in 150. Shot from Peru also performs in a similar manner. If I had used Lawrence shot I would still be there cleaning the machine. The Remington shot cost $2/bag more than import but it was exceptional.

I've been loading some 3/4 oz. loads of .410 with nickel plated 8s. Zero bridging. Agree about Lawrence.

I don't know if it is the smoothness of the shot or if Remington is just better covered by graphite. Also old shot will sometimes have a slight oxidation layer on the surface which makes it a little more likely to bridge. A trick, that is messy, is to add a little graphite to your shiot bottle and work it into the shot by rolling the bottle back and forth on the bench top, with both ends sealed.

The Remington shot was fresh from Remington, very nice stuff. Crow has it for the first time in years.
