Snow Hill is A street in Birmingham adjacent to Edmund Street. Both locations in Birmingham are close to the old Birmingham Gun Quarter.
Your gun is more than likely incorrectly engraved or worse still it is a spurious gun made by unscruplious others in Birmingham trade.
My advice is; forget about the name and enjoy your gun!
