No. An elitist is not someone that owns an expensive gun, rather it is someone that "looks down his nose" at those that own lesser ones(and expresses the disdain).

True. One can be eclectic without being elitist. I would like to think I'm the former. But whatever.
I'm trying to figure out what my next, "last", "go-to", everyday, shotgun should be an where I'll find it and can I ford it. I don't know what this really makes me but it does give me something to do during the winter when times are slow.
I do know, it will be a 12 gauge with 2.75" chambers, or longer. Unless it is a 20, maybe, possibly but probably not a 16. It will be pistol gripped unless maybe it's not, probably 28," chokes something like modified/full or a little looser, Nitro proofed, probably not germanic, signficantly less than 6.5 lbs. Old. Maybe American. Maybe kind of different (hard to explain, but folk art engraving, Darnes and other things all attract me).
Does this make me a hoarder or a collector? I don't know.
More importantly, does this ring any bells for anyone? I'm still working on finding the money so it may be a while.
