The official interpretation of what the framers intended when they drafted the 2nd Amendment was settled in not one, but two U.S. Supreme Court cases in 2008. The addled opinions of a brainless anti-gun Troll had no place being posted there. The obvious intent of you and your anti-gun pal King was to Troll and disrupt. In fact, prior to Dave allowing the thread to go away, King was the only one who had posts totally deleted by Dave from the content of the thread. Why do you think that was?
Despite the clear and simple meaning of the words, the large body of scholarly research into the original intent, and the results of the Heller and McDonald decisions, both you and King Brown persisted in maintaining that the Individual Right to Keep and Bear Arms was a recent invention of the NRA, and that states and localities had the right to supersede the 2nd Amendment with more restrictive local statutes.
