While recovering from a between the Holidays hospital stay I treated myself to a present. Ordered from Jeff's Outfitters his new canvas "Compact SXS 2 barrel case". case accessories: 2 pcs rosewood cleaning rod, brown leather accessory pouch, bore brush and split jag, chamber brush and cap with rosewood handle, nickel oil pot and nickel snap caps. It's a 30 inch barrel case so I cut the covered wood piece included to take up the space in the barrel compartments to prevent shifting of the 28 inch barrels and recovered with the extra material included. The chamber brush handle takes the split jag for cleaning the chambers after using the chamber brush. My Gaspar Arizaga side lock ejector now has a very nice case for display and transport to and from SXS events. I've been using Jeff's compact single and his motor case and like them. They are pretty nice but not suited for shipping or airline use. Not so good for bouncing off the boot of your English sports car but they are nice cases. First 2 barrel case I've seen that is nice and not cost prohibited. For those that like to take the time, the traditional cleaning accessories are fun, work well and enjoyable to use. Spent some recovery time reading through all the pages on the "General Discussion" section and the amount of knowledge posted is really the best source of information of any of the double gun forums on the net.
