Hers another opinion . Many if not most clays courses are best shot with open chokes. Exception courses set for tournaments and if tournaments are the intended use its not the right gun anyway.
Adding screw chokes of any kind ruins more SXS guns than they help. Ask the shop if they are going to pattern the gun for POI as part of the job. If not dont let them touch the gun.
Hard use comments are valid, best way to avoid trouble light loads, 7/8 oz at 1150 FPS they way to go. Best pattern the gun before doing anything . You dont have to do a lot of calculation. I draw a 12 inch circles on ordinary construction paper. Shoot 10 20 30 & 40 yards. Each barrel, each distance 8 targets. Looking at the result will either make you trust the load and gun or see that its not up to the job.
My guess is its fine as is.
