Just saw this post. I was there 1979-1982. worked 726 Class except some 688 stuff down in the graving docks. Welded on most of the boats from 726 thru 735. my white hat was Bob Adams. Mostly a reactor rat. I hated that tank at the very bottom of the reactor. You had a tiny hole to crawl through and then over all the hull ribs and no space between them and the bottom of the reactor. Nuke and structural. No pipe.
