Here's the results, link is to the last page so work back from there . Pistols , Rifles , accessories and airguns are at the beginning.
(202 looks like it could be a good buy, needs a top lever spring. My money's staying in my pocket though. )

I've already blown my gun-buying budget for at least the next 6 months but couldn't help noticing this little 16

Lot 250 looks like a nice gun... I've never bought at an auction house before- is there a way to get an idea as to stock condition (cracks and such) and general soundness? And how accurate are the estimates?

I would love an 8 bore single hammer gun...two of them are well under 9 lbs with rounded actions.

Remember to check the Bore Size List on the homepage before placing a bid. Many of the lots have thin barrels.

The estimates on guns that I have been interested in have been low.

Holts estimates, in my experience tend to be reasonable or a little low. Every once in a while there's one that greatly exceeds the estimate or some that never go because, I suspect, the potential seller is insisting on to high a reserve for market conditions. Gardiner's estimates seem generally a bit too high to me on the other hand.

Through whom will you import the gun? Which one was it? Congrats.

Lot 250, a Midland Gun Company 12 bore. I will be using New Forrest Gun Room in Port Huron, MI. Mark is a friend of mine, he has a group of guns coming in next month which helps cut down on shipping costs. It was my first time bidding in an English auction... rather fun! Good thing I knew what the bank account had to say first... a few of the gun and shell cases caught my eye lol.

I ordered a book on Midland, but does anyone have a way to ballpark a mfg date based on serial number?

Congrats. Looks to be a nice catch. What is the timeline to get one back here and into your hands?

Mark imports batches of guns 3-4 times per year. I should be able to get it in the January batch, so hopefully middle to end of next month

Good job. Often I have found surprises when bidding in those auctions, some good some bad. It really helps to have someone over there that you can trust before bidding.

A few nice 20 bores went for affordable prices.
I don't have enough self control to attend auctions anymore though, smile the numbers tend to take a back seat in my brain if there's another bidder or two competing. (I have to sit on my hands!)
