James I completely agree with you. America prefers divided government. That's why I predict that the republican majority will falter with the mid-term elections. I could be wrong...Geo

Hate, ouch. It doesn't have to be about changing hearts and minds, that doesn't work anywhere around the world. But, anywhere you can let 'em know that their feelings aren't just rubber stamped, it slows them down and exposes their idea of dialog, double down.

Don't walk away from your 'team'. Remember, there was a time when you were pulling for team shrub. Look to them for an example, better to support America's team, rather than drive wedges into it, after not a peep for the last eight years.

I would just ask Bill, what's wrong with any of the facts surrounding 'tax reform'. He said he was open to 'discussion'.

Craig, if you need to ask what's wrong with Trump's tax reform, you wouldn't accept the answer. It's like Brownback's tax reform in Kansas. Just watch how it plays out. PS The projected increase in the debt is 1 trillion dollars, but who's worried about that?

Go back and read JFK and his tax reform that will explain it to you.

There is no tax reform for people who don't pay taxes. If you get money from the government because your income is low or zero that's not a refund or credit that is welfare, a gift of other people's money, from the government. You can't reduce zero so no reform will make them happy unless you increase their welfare payments.

People who complain about others having too much rarely have failed themselves. They never tried so they never failed. Never heard a poor person, with little or no education and no money remark my mother made me study too much instead of watching tv or playing too many video games.

And people who worry about the super rich must think every rich person got that way by chance. Most got in early and worked hard but for each of them a hundred did the same but failed. It's work, not luck. Also money rarely last to the third generation. One makes it, one spends it and the third gets the scraps. I went to school with the grandson of the man who owned Pepsi Cola. The entire company. All money was gone by the third generation. So the super rich today will be all gone in a hundred years.

Well, Geo. I think were good for a couple more pages at least.

Maybe Im a weirdo but I find these threads more fun and interesting than pellets and chokes and stuff. Its fun watching people fight and loose their minds.

The Blues cooled the Kwee-beckers jets and the Wings cooled the Jets jets last night. Ha ha. (Go Wings!)

Can we discuss factual vs. projected?

I know that you are well aware that by allowing a sunset, as well as a bunch of other regulatory and court mandates, your guy was responsible for the largest tax increase ever on all, including illegals and poor, in the USA.

Can you explain why supposed record revenue was not enough. The last fellow factually increased the national debt by some ten trillion and change within a period of eight years. What do we have to show for that ten trillion, no shovel ready jobs, no vastly improved infrastructure, no renewable energy revolution.

If you truly believe your one trillion dollar projection, why not a peep about the previous factual ten trillion? You probably are not aware of factual improvements in the economy over the last eleven months. Can it all be head in the sand or the previous fellow laid the groundwork? Just because you feel the same politically or more motivated politically, doesn't mean you can't see actual improvements in the economy compared to the new last eight years.

Factually, when has a tax increase ever been enough for you. Don't the facts say the debt balloons regardless.
