Interesting comments about the rib design.
I have shot Boss's and just got on with them and it (shooting).
Boxall will build a gun with whatever you want and indeed have built a few with short front rib only .
But when we get down to the nitty gritty we should not be aware of any rib and concentrate on the target .
Surprisingly many people get on very well with Guerini high rib guns. BUT give them a standard rib and let them settle with their neck or shoulder issues , they shoot the same as with the high ribs .
I personally always notice how a narrow tapered rib ( Churchill style ) instantly takes my eye to the muzzle . I especially like the Perrazi stepped ramp rib , so I guess what I am saying is that a rib is an unecessary piece of jewellery?
