The Ideal is probably my second most admired gun for its sleekness, opening and cocking mechanism and round action. I'm out for the first time this fall, tomorrow with my Ideal 2R. Unfortunately it is the one I reported on here a few years back. Nothing wrong mechanical but not a piece to be seen up close.

Now if I can get the man 1/2 hr behind the rest of us :)) motivated I might have a Parker DHe to show off. It has been 2 years in gunsmiths hands, that I've never shot.
