I have one and tested it for every type of slug I could find. All were good but the cheap Remington's rifled slugs were the best. Key holes shots at 100yds. Damn good gun

Sure we do Jagermeister. We see it right here when you start yet another thread pretending that you are interested in buying a gun you obviously cannot afford. It will be interesting to see your lame and silly excuse for not buying this one.

You still don't own even one lousy double gun, do you? How would it look to you if I registered on some Golfing Forum as "Golfmeister" and posted advice about golfing and golf equipment... even though I don't golf or own a set of golf clubs?
How about if I also started threads about buying golf clubs, and never actually bought them, but reported that I did? That would be pretty sad and pathetic, wouldn't it?

Sound familiar?

Perhaps, if the recoil of a 20 ga. slug is too much for you, pictures torn out of a Field and Stream and a Red Ryder might better suit.

I don't mind 20ga at all. Seeing that map kind of eliminates need for the gun, but I have to give this idea some very serious thought. Big upside in buying this is I could reduce my inventory of guns to just two or three. This is very, very strong incentive. As I'm getting older fewer is better. As I said before this particular gun is actually worth the asking price.
I feel they should have left the name 'Professional' out of the picture. The best 1911 pistol is made in Huntsville, AR USA. It is called 'No Name' because all one finds on the gun is name and address of manufacturer stamped in small letters on right side of the frame. That is brilliant just as is the name of the company that makes it.

I have personally seen problems with more than one RBL's single trigger.

Just saying.

I read rumors, therefore, I am curious how the unit stands up to loads generating heavy recoil. I don't really care about double triggers I just want good reliable trigger.

The best trigger is one you can only imagine in your dreams. So this should be perfect for a guy like you who simply makes shit up!

I must be one of the lucky ones I have an RBL 20 guage (not the professional) and have not had any issues with it at all!

I use these in my Professional. They had better groups than the lower velocity kind and never any fliers. I never really noticed a difference in recoil.

I use the RBL Professional for deer when I'm mobile, especially if there is a little snow on the ground. I've only ever shot one doe with it but it was a lot of fun to stalk a skidder road in the snow and take it at about 40 yards as it got out of its bed.

FWIW, I also have an RBL 16 and I've never had any problems with the triggers in either gun.
