Have an old Cashmore and would love to see what Geoffrey's article has to say. Many thanks.

Nigel Brown, I think, is the author of a book on Birmingham guns which is a companion to his book on London guns. His book on London guns (which I do own)includes information on the recent owners of the records of gun companies and I assume the Birmingham book has similar information. Boothroyd indicates that he was able to obtain old Cashmore catalog copies from Gunnerman Books. These reprints may still be available. Murphy

Tate's "Birmingham Gunmakers" has a good write up and spends a few paragraphs on the Mill's patent adopted by Cashmore to build his pigeon guns (the exterior hook design on my gun). I am looking forward to seeing what Geoff has to say. Good to see you yesterday at the shoot.
