Stan, the 12 bore barrels are 29 7/8", .016 x .028 choke, and it weighs an even 7 pounds.

Mike, I don't know the source of the gun, but Giddings spent most of his life around Ilion, N.Y. He had a couple of sons and a daughter in "the business" and Giddings' name is stamped on the stocks of many high grade Remingtons, and several Lefevers, including the Benjamin Harrison Optimus.
