I and a couple of friends were looking at a very sleek and trim 12b shotgun labeled L. Oschitz Stetten (give or take a spelling error or two). This appears to be a German/Suhl gun that I have never heard of. It has trigger bar locks and is therefore very narrow in the breech to make a very nice 6# 6 oz gun with 30" barrels. Quite the Sweetheart, but I've never heard of the maker, assuming Stetten is the maker and not the owner. This was stamped on an island in the top rib matting. With the Greener crossbolt it seemed like a very strong, yet very light 12 bore and a couple of us are tempted to buy it.
Can anyone tell me about the maker and the value/utility/durability of these guns?
