Going to Allens Park south of Estes Park in a week for a week. Any shooting venues there?

Colorado clays is the closest. You will be about an hour and a half from there. If you are a rifle shooter, Ellis Brown puts on his annual Elephant hunt and barbeque a week from Saturday. I am less than ten minutes away from Allens Park. Great fishing in the area if you like small streams. Steve

A second for the Elephant Hunt. You don't need a big gun to shoot there. Plenty of folks will have rifles and spare ammo. I'm bringing my .404 and ammo and I won't even shoot (just had eye surgery today). As well, you're about the same distance from Great Guns as you are from Colorado Clays. Both are well run and throw great targets. Great Guns has a 100 ft. tower on top of a hill for some tall targets. They also sometimes have three traps working at each station.
