Have I ever! The slow rivers down here are full of frogs. A pump .22 with short hollow points and a gig to pick up with instead of having to get out of the boat on a steep bank. A long rifle hp will flip a frog six feet up the bank, but the shorts are just right.

I asked our local game warden once whether shooting frogs instead of gigging them was OK. He was stumped...Geo
