Better than being "unsafely" in a Yugo!

What year was the Pantera? At least you could outrun a Mama bear in that. I think Elvis had one that same color.

Main production ran from 1971 through to 1974. You can easily and quickly narrow it down to a 71/72 or a 73/74 by the style of bumpers. The later models had the stupid black plastic "5 mph" safety bumper. Didn't help Tim Horton!

The advantage of the earlier two years was lighter weight because of less safety crap and slightly better hp because of less emission crap. The downside is they were constantly tweaking the cars to work out the production bugs (there are lots) and the later cars are better built.

Most fun car I have owned. Fast and raw. When driving you have the distinct impression that there is you, the steering wheel and pedals and the engine (which is about 6" behind your head). Hell, you barely even needed the gear shift. I could start in third gear and take it up to about 95 mph without shifting. Closest thing to a race car I can imagine except for a Lotus/Caterham 7.

A woman got in the way. Now I no longer have the car or the woman. There's a lesson in there somewhere.

Really? Every forum out there, crashed?

I doubt it.

Well all I can say is every picture I've posted thru PB on any of the forums I've posted them on are all gone. Guess they caught up with me.

Best,

I like that hat. Our great leader is doing great job. For few kind words and pat on the back he made it possible for us to sell eastern europeans expensive natural gas and outdated military equipment for billions of dollars.

It would make better point if the car in pic was Trabant from former DDR.

Gentlemen:

Here's my version of the Trumpmobile:

James: I've had the car for 21-years and the wife for 32. I must be doing something right?

That is nice car one does not see every day. Our great leader did great job in Saudi Arabia and Poland. We got major arms order from Saudi Arabia and the Poles will buy some military hardware, natural gas and perhaps even coal from West Virginia. Hail to the Chief.
