It depends on where in their line the gun was priced.
By my view, under the "Buy the gun, not the name" principle, Spanish guns are the sort of inverted.

If UA or Grulla or DAKIN, etc. gave the gun a NAME, rather than a number, it denotes higher original quality and price.

So a "Consort" or a "Monarch" would denote a higher OQ and OP.

Some of the cheapie Spanish sidelocks of the 60's were pretty crude inside.
