Well, it does now. It's on the block for whatever reason.

Let's see how long it takes to find a new owner.

It's a great gun.... but for 18 Very Large, I'd need it to be perfect - for me, not the guy who ordered it. 3" chambers and an extra 1/2" pull would do it.

I could live with the ducks, although they pale in comparison to my Rem 11.

I'll wager it's perfect for somebody. If the gentleman who picked up the 15 1-4# Westley Richards .600NE for $120,000 and 100 rounds of ammo at $32/ea. at the range where I was shooting last Saturday felt it was perfect enough for him there is certainly someone out there for this Perazzi.

That Perazzi is drop dead gorgeous.....but definitely above my pay grade. Us old retired educators have to settle for somewhat lesser guns. I picked up a couple of Rizzinis; a Vertex 20 sporting to play with at skeet and sporting clays, but at 7 1/4 lbs. with 32" barrels, it ought to be a dove killer, and a Rizzini Artemis Special 12 with 32" barrels and st. grip. The Artemis weighs the same as the Vertex 20. The Artemis will probably end up in my son's hands.

I could make do, if necessary.

But I just betcha... if the owner/specifier of the gun sold it to the dealer the first thing out of the dealer's mouth was....

'Pity no 3" chambers'

I'm a recent Rizzini convert myself Gary.

Do me a favor... if you will...

If those guns have Anson style forend latches, and I think they do (push button on the front end of the forend), see if the set screw that holds the button shaft in place is tight.

It's likely a 1.5 mm hex drive set screw.

This was a problem on mine, the damn button departed the gun.

Those are nice, GaryW. I've had a Rizzini made Verona 28/410, 30" barreled set for several years, but had to add a 1/4" high rib to mine on both sets of barrels. Just not enough drop for me on Rizzinis and Guerinis. I shoot high with them all.

Artemis special has the push rod release....Vertex has a button latch in the middle of the forearm....thanks for the heads up on the push button issue.

Both Rizzinis have 3" chambers, slightly overbored barrels, and are guaranteed for steel shot.

I would be hard pressed to put that Rizzini in my kayak and float down the crick with it jumping ducks. A nice blind or some field hunting though that would be perfect for because I wouldn't let it get anywhere near the water especially deep water.
