The grouse inlay over the BC Miroku on the bottom of the action is not factory...Miroku is very proud of their name...and Steve would have to show me the factory stamp of the serial number on the buttstock. But if you think it is...that's great. Says Charles Daly Field on the barrel, but I have been wrong before...and I could be wrong here.
I would probably agree with you about the gold inlays. I think the engraving and wood are original.The steel buttplate and grip cap are definitely add-ons, but well executed.
