Would be a great competition gun, sure. But there is a need for double guns with a bit of heft, such as high volume shooting. This gun is literally crying out Cordoba! Cordoba! Most grouse and woodcock only hunters don't understand the need for a gun over 6 lbs. Fact is, most people who don't carry a gun in the woods all day want something a little heavier because they can shoot it better, and it absorbs a lot of recoil on high volume days. I've put 1200 rounds a day through a 687 SP II Sporting, and could appreciate a few more ounces at the end of the day.
