I think you will find the Cuban cigars expensive and overrated.

Absolutely! I like the 8-5-8 in Maduro myself.
Also Punch is a great smoke too.

If you want a great cigar from Honduras, you can't go wrong with an Excalibur. I've never had a poorly made Punch and this is no exception.

If you prefer a Dominican cigar, La Unica is an excellent value and again is very well constructed.

These days, I try to confine my cigar consumption to my hunting trips, but, when I'm on the road, I always have the best cigars available. These two are on the short list.

Incidently, the best cigar makers left Cuba a long time ago and the cigars coming out of there are overpriced and overrated.

MMMMMMMMMM, cigars!!!!!!!! I've tried most of the brands mentioned in the previous posts, enjoyed them all. I've been indulging in the Don Lino's lately. Both maduro and EMS. I prefer the maduro, even has a slightly sweet taste. Nice smooth drawing, even burning and full bodied Dominican. Tried them first at a local cigar tasting with the makers rolling them for you. Very nice long filler and great aroma from the wrapper. Very nice price I might add!!

I hate to throw water on your fires, but when Mr. Castro's power wanes and the embargo is lifted, the greatest change in our lives here on the right coast will be doves, not cigars. Sorry, guys, we've been smoking the cigars with only a small blip in availability since 1959, but 1959 was the end of Cuban hunting 90 miles off shore.
