I'm not huffy Greg,I'm serious! I remember when Philly Fox 12s were 400 dollar guns and 16s were everywhere for 700 bucks. I also remember buying Miroku SxS 20s for under $500 and German small bores for the same.
Who ever thought that field grade would become fashionable and that upgrading would become so common. I know one guy who sold 14 model 42 Winchesters to a 70 yr old guy who felt they were better than money in the bank. He didn't have to give him a volume discount either.
And, I did realize your tongue was most likely firmly planted in your cheek.
