At 6lbs. 12oz. it's on a 20ga. frame as well. I sold a 28ga. Citori Superlight VI after shooting a 28 ga. on a true 28 ga. frame.

Definitely a 20 gauge frame, money would be better spent on a bespoked Armas Garbi or similar Spanish 28 gauge. First it would fit you and second it would be built on a true 28 gauge frame.

The 28ga. that I wound up with is a Merkel 280EL, a delightful gun to shoot.

There are several 28 ga baby frame Perazzi's, both new and used, currently available online for much less than the price of this one. Several with outstanding wood and excellent engraving are still offered at less than 50% of its price. Barnett himslf even has what seems to be a beautiful SC3 Grade for $21,500.

In my opinion, one of the Perazzi's would be a more reasonable choice for someone in the market for a high-end 28 ga o/u, at least to actually shoot.

Disagree on both counts. Price corrected also.

JR,

The grouse inlay over the BC Miroku on the bottom of the action is not factory...Miroku is very proud of their name...and Steve would have to show me the factory stamp of the serial number on the buttstock. But if you think it is...that's great. Says Charles Daly Field on the barrel, but I have been wrong before...and I could be wrong here.

I still think there is an extra zero in there.

I would probably agree with you about the gold inlays. I think the engraving and wood are original. The steel buttplate and grip cap are definitely add-ons, but well executed.
